Buck Moon - Original Framed Artwork

6,000 USD (Shipping Included)

Artwork Title: “Buck Moon"

This piece is a special one for me. It evokes a pure elusive joyful moment. Growing up in the countryside of midwest Indiana, I would sit on the back porch staring up into the hazy full moon rising behind a tree outside my parent’s backyard during a summertime. I felt magic in the air in my solitude as crickets chirped in the distance and fireflies danced about while peace and harmony surrounded my existence. On the horizon, fluttering birds created moving silhouettes against the soft-lit moon as they fluttered away, disappearing into the distant dark of the night. Warm summer air would brush against my face as I inhaled the magic that night created into my lungs and locked it into the deep parts of my memories. It was an elusive moment, but one I did not want to forget. I felt alive, one with mother nature.

Those feelings became the foundation for this original piece. It was the essence of that time that I wanted to capture, that feeling of wonderment and beauty that seems surreal but at the same time, I lived it. This original artwork was my interpreation of elements in nature coming together to create a moment of beautiful realness, and at the same time, seemed so surreal.

ARTWORK CARE

PRINTS:

Limited signed giclée prints should be treated with delicacy and care similar to the original artwork to help preserve its longevity. Below are recommendations to help care for your artwork.

  • For large 18" X 24" prints handle using the provided white gloves when handling your prints or original artwork.
  • Handle minimally to avoid stains, scratching, unnecessary creases, and damaging folds. Handle along the edges to prevent any damage to the central art portion.
  • Keep art prints in room temperature settings away from excessive heat, cold, and moisture to avoid possible damage. Avoid excessive direct sunlight when possible.
  • Have it professionally framed at your local frame shop sooner rather than later. Ensure the papers used in framing, including the mat, are acid-free materials to avoid yellowing and staining the original artwork over time. This will help in the longevity of the artwork. Frame your artwork using non-glare glass or plexiglass. This will also help minimize fading over time.
  • Avoid storing or hanging your artwork in damp, moist locations.
  • Avoid heavy chemicals and abrasive cloths when cleaning your framed artwork. Use minimal cleaning solutions and dusting to avoid possible damage and scratches.
  • DO NOT laminate your artwork. Discoloration and irreversible damage will occur over time.
