This turned out to be one of my favorite pieces. Sometimes you have an idea, but you never know how it will turn out until towards finishing it. This one turned out better than I had expected, and her beauty has hypnotized me. It is appropriately named "Natural Beauty.” Her eyes are closed in a profile Zen state while delicate monarchs dance around her crowned headpiece made from naturally twisted branches and leaves. The subject evokes a timeless beauty from a distant past, yet she has a modern essence to her profile. The artwork captures a moment of magical elegance and simplicity: softness, peace, and calm. A mesmerizing moment in celebrating beauty, her soft feminine side, and free spirit.
